    When I saw these chickens, they seemed too fancy to be in a barnyard; so I made them “City Chickens.”  Their pathways are narrow strips inserted and woven through the quilt.  The quilt was slashed and the strips were inserted, then the quilt was sewed back together.  Borders are African prints.
