This quilt was made for the 2004-Prairie Quilt Challenge at the OKC Winter Quilt Show.  Three fabrics were included in the challenge and up to eight additional fabrics could be added to it. I found it to be a challenge to use the chosen fabrics, especially the blue one.  I hid it in various places, under the saddle-beaded piece, the underlining to the rug on the elephant’s back, and the fabric tassel on the quilt.  I endeavored to incorporate an India flair.
