This pansy block design is from Violet Larson, and my original leaf block.  There are ten fractured pansy blocks that are positioned to form the illusion of one larger pansy.  The yellow blocks form the center, and the purple blocks form the outside petals of the pansy.  I have crazy quilted the seams to give it a little pizzazz, embellishing it with many types of pansy and leaf motifs.
