This quilt was made to show the Oklahoma City
Federal Building bombsite as it stood in 1997.
There are 168 male and female figures to represent those that died in the
bombing. Their guardian angels are watching over them.
The chain link fence is continually covered with items brought by
visitors to the site to express their grief and sympathy.
The site is a somber place and continues to touch those who visit.
Visualize
from the bottom, the street in front of the fence, then the blacktop walkway,
next the fence. Next you see the
partial wall of the Murrah building, then the buildings in the horizon skyline. This is my vision of what it looked like.
